Alcorn State University cross country and track and field head coach Brian Johnson will be inducted into the Southern University Sports Hall of Fame Friday evening at an enshrinement ceremony at the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel.

To cap off a successful 2016-17 year, the Alcorn State University department of athletics applauded 31 student-athletes who tallied a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester.
